Wine Beast

We had another sumptuous lunch at Wine Beast yesterday (3 Mar 2017).  Now, they provide more choices of main course.  Some demand extra charge.  I went for the beef tartare.  Wow! It's heavenly fresh and refreshing!  Lime juice and red paprika mixed into the tartare.  Superb!  And it's flexible that I could switch from potato to vegetables. Very nicely done.

My colleagues enjoyed their dishes.  The tomato soup, sea bass, steak, dessert, etc.  A happy Friday!

Wine Beast Le-Bistro is place for superb food.   I was twice there and happy for the sumptuous food. The place is modern yet soothing.  Light music with once popular songs let you relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Your heart and stomach will be opened too. The chef's beautiful wife always greet you with her cheerful smiles. Another nice experience makes you want to visit again.

Wine Beast Le-Bistro is led by Chef Johan Ducroquet.  He was trained in famous Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris and worked as head chef at restaurants in France, Spain and South America.   His cooking wonderfully marries with beautiful presentation.

We visited Wine Beast Le-Bistro for a reunion prior to Christmas.  One of us took the grilled salmon. The other two ordered the other choice, beef Bavette.  It was mouthwatering.   Beefy, tender, juicy and the use of soy in the dressing made it unforgettable.  Cammie said that she could lick up the dressing clean........

The dessert was great too.  Very fresh apricot sorbet went together with the velvet vanilla mascarpone.  Joyful, our eyes and taste-buds were pleased with the lovely dessert.

Another time, about a week later, I had lunch again at Wine Beast.   I took salad. Most of my colleagues took soup which was presented gorgeously with a fried slice of bacon.  Choices of main course were beef Bavette and rice with something.  Well, I can't remember.  All six of us unanimously took the beef.   And all of us raised our thumb.

The dessert was indulgent and beautifully decorated.  Chocolate mousse can be monotonous.  But the chef added a small piece of opera. Chocolate mousse served in a pastel green dessert cup.  In the opposite corner stood beige chocolate opera.   Divine!

Cammie and I will return for dinner one day.  Downstairs of wine beast is its own wine shop. Guests dining at the Le-Bistro pay the price of the wine as they buy it in the wine shop. We are waiting for this one day.......
